10:00 – 11:30	UA at the Leading Edge The University of Arizona received $361.8 million in research grants, contracts and gifts in 2006. Come see what leading researchers are developing in the laboratory and what could be the next big breakthrough.
11:45 – 1:30	Technology Innovation Awards Luncheon Celebrate the best in University of Arizona innovation as we honor faculty and students for their achievements. Donald W. Grimm, our keynote speaker is a Director with Hamilton BioVentures and Chair of the fund's Life Science Executive Advisory Board. During his distinguished career with Eli Lilly & Company, Mr. Grimm served as Director of Worldwide Pharmaceutical Pricing, Director of Pharmaceutical Market Research, and Director of Sales for the pharmaceutical business on the West Coast of the United States. He also served as Chair of Pacific Biotech, and Vice President of the Medical Devices & Diagnostics division.
1:30 – 3:30	Innovation Showcase The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program is one of the best in the country. Join us as these students showcase their business ideas.
4:00 - 5:00	New Venture Presentations Be part of the excitement as student teams selected by judges during the Innovation Showcase compete for recognition by a distinguished panel of business people and angel investors.
5:00 - 6:00	Innovation Showcase Recognition Awards and Reception Join us as we announce the winners of the New Venture Presentations and honor the best in University of Arizona student achievement.
